For longer RERF® procedures — particularly RERF-M and RERF-C — an overnight stay at YASC is available and recommended. YASC (Suite 316, 4789 Yonge Street) is a state-of-the-art, CPSO-inspected Level 3 Out-of-Hospital Premises located on-site at EyeFACE Institute. All procedures take place in the same facility where you recover — no hospital transfer, no unfamiliar environment.

OFA-Bleph™ vs. standard blepharoplasty
Standard blepharoplasty removes fat and excises skin. OFA-Bleph™ repositions fat on its living blood supply — no volume discarded, no hollowing, better long-term results. The technique, ASOPRS fellowship training, and CPSO Level 3 facility command a premium over general plastic surgery blepharoplasty, which ranges from $5,500–$8,500 in Toronto for upper eyelid surgery alone.
RERF® vs. facelift packages elsewhere
RERF-M at $27,000–$33,000 includes endoscopic midface + brow lift, donor-site fat harvest and hand-processing, nanofat, PRP, and Erbium laser — all in one session. Ford Plastic Surgery's deep plane facelift + neck lift starts at $27,500 and does not include regenerative fat or laser resurfacing. RERF-C's all-day comprehensive restoration ($38,000–$45,000) is in line with Toronto's leading facelift practices.
What's included vs. what's added on
EyeFACE fees include the surgeon's fee, YASC (Level 3 facility), RN or TIVA anesthesia, and all post-operative visits. Some competitor quotes cover the surgeon's fee only — facility and anesthesia are added separately. Always confirm what's included before comparing numbers.
OHIP Coverage
Upper OFA-Bleph™ is fully covered by OHIP when excess eyelid skin causes documented visual field obstruction. Patients who qualify pay nothing out-of-pocket for the surgery. Dr. Gill assesses OHIP eligibility at every upper eyelid consultation, arranges required testing, and manages the submission — at no additional charge.
